I am so excited for my mermaid tail to come! It’s supposed to come tomorrow. My friend and her sister have mermaid tails, too. So it will be so much FUN!!!

haven’t gotten it yet but i can’t wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’ve been begging my parents for one but they have always said ”NO” and I don’t know why. Then finally one day I actually heard the words I was looking for.They said YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was jumping and dancing all crazy after that, which meant i didn’t hear the words they said after. Apparently I have to come up with my own money to get it. because of that i had to make my own lemonade stand. this gave me a total of $ 70.16!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!which gives me enough money to buy my tail WITH a matching top!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Riva’s Tail-Part One: New World

I woke up to the crisp feeling of fresh sheets under my back. A cool, refreshing breeze blew through a half open window, and the soft touch of this burst of wind seems to kiss my cheek when it reached me. I sighed contently and rose out of bed. I was finally somewhere I could call home! You may have a hard time believing this, but my mom, Juniper, is a mermaid! So am I! Mom isn’t just a plain old mermaid either. Instead of some boring old job like most of the women in my old village used to have, my mom is the leader of an all female group of warriors, sworn to protect the Royal Families of all seven seas! Right now, she’s stationed near the Pacific Ocean, which was my home, but now…
I’m living with some members of the MerCouncil on land now. They’re two very nice mers, who, like me, are able to have human fins, or legs, thanks to Mermaiden Jia’s golden pearls. Their names are Ian and Gitra. Apparently, they never attend any of the MerCouncil meetings, but they do deal with topics concerning them, and that includes situations like this. For the sake of our on land cover, they’re my “uncles” who have been taking care of me since my mom’s been deployed to some land militia force. Ian and Gitra (pronounced GEE-TRA, I originally was introduced to him via letter, and Ian INSISTED on including a pronunciation key.) Anyway, back to the present. I brushed out my long,wavy, black hair and secured some of it out of my face with a barrette. I made sure I didn’t snag my golden pearl necklace when I brushed my hair. It may just seem like a piece of jewelry, but it contains the gold pearls I talked about earlier. These control my having legs. If the pearls were to be separated from me, my tail would go haywire, and that could end in disaster! I then put on one of these replaceable “outsides” Princess Waverly seems to be so obsessed about. According to my research, you call these “clothes” in general, and use specific names like “dress” and “shorts” for certain items. If this is correct, I put on a “dress” with a turquoise swirl patterned fabric. I then walked downstairs into the kitchen, where Ian was making breakfast, and Gitra was doing….something. Gitra was in the middle of stacking wooden seahorse figures on top of a glass ledge, when both he and Ian turned their heads and wished me good morning. Ian turned back to his work, flipping circles of solidifying batter. By now, Gitra had put away his stack of model seahorses and snuck up on Ian from behind, pressing his finger to his lips that told me to stay silent. I did so while stifling a laugh. Ian was so concentrated, I think his eyes almost popped out of his head when Gitra tugged on his perfectly tucked-in shirt collar in just the slightest and made a startling noise!
“Gitra! That is utterly immature! We ARE the adults here, are we not? Hmph, Bon Appetite.”, Ian huffed as he laid the flat circle of food on our plates.
“If you don’t mind me asking, what are these called on land?”, I inquired.
“Pancakes.”, Ian replied. Gitra took a large bite of his pancake and gulped it down.
“The pan part I get. But why would you call it a cake if there’s no frosting? It’s not a cake without frosting.”, Gitra said.
“Would it kill you to use a napkin?”, Ian snapped as he handed Gitra a cloth napkin. Gitra ignored this and wiped his mouth with his sleeve.
“If you want to Riva, there’s some good places to go exploring around here. There’s the dock up front, which leads you to the lake…”, Gitra suggested.
“Be cautious not to get wet, however. We want to keep a low profile here.”, Ian warned.
So, I walked out the wooden front door, ready to face this new and unfamiliar world I now call home

Who Needs Legs

Elisha was sitting on her bed dreaming of the what it was like to be mermaid. She loved watching the mermaid shows. She took mermaid tail fitting and when she got her tail waxed on she said,”Bye Bye, legs who needs you any way.” Since she had prostic legs and got them taken of and had a skin mermaid tail shaped like a mermaid tail. She had dreamed of swimming in a mermaid tail. She swam in her mermaid tail legs everyday one day her mom got her, her very own mermaid tail from finfunmermaid.com. She loved it! She swam in it every day.

She had always wanted to become a mermaid. JEmma’s birthday was in a week and she practiced her mermaid kick and butterfly arms and used julie’s daughter’s mermaid tail to practice. A Tale of Two Tails

Alex and her best friend, A, were walking through a park. Both girls were named Alex, so the taller, slim, dark-haired friend preferred to be called “A”. The two of them walked until they came to the end of the path, and came across a flowing river. The river looked so cool and refreshing, and it would sooth the girls’ aching muscles on the hot, humid, summer day. Alex rolled up her jeans and splashed her feet under the gurgling, clear water of the river. A look of bliss came across her face, and she closed her eyes in perfect calm.
“Come on in, A!”, she exclaimed, “The water is SOOO nice!”
A hesitated, but then sighed and hung her head.
“It’s time for you to know”, she whispered.
A stuck her legs in the water, and waited for something tensely. Nothing happened and her face showed a mixture of shock and disbelief.
“Nothing happened!”, A yelled. Alex shot her a confused look that demanded an explanation.
A wiped away the beginnings of tears from her eyes, and offered her reply.
“It’s time you know Alex.”, she began. “You know how we both like mermaids? The reason I like them so much is because I am one. The Mercouncil sent me here to study the ways of humans who admire mermaids. But; there was a catch….”
“Woah! The Mercouncil! Like in the Mermaiden stories!?!”, interrupted Alex.
“Yes, but those aren’t just stories. They’re true. As I was saying, there was a catch. I would regain my tail if I touched water. It seem that I have been dry for too long,”, her voice faltered, as if she were ready to cry,” and have lost my tail.”
Alex put her hand on her friend’s back, and tried to comfort her. “Don’t worry!” Alex exclaimed. “I have an idea!”
Both girls went home, and within four days, Alex knocked on A’s door holding two rectangular boxes. A answered the door and her eyes lit up as she saw the address on the boxes.
“FinFun! You got us FinFun tails! How?!”, she squealed.
Alex was smiling from ear to ear! “Their prices are so awesome that I just used my birthday money! I still have some left for headbands and Mermaiden necklaces!”
Both girls opened up their boxes and went for the most fun swim in their lives! Even A’s mood improved. “It feels like the real thing!”, she said happily.

HEr family was poor but kind and generous. THey gave most of their money to charity but never had time to get things for their own daughter. Story: The First Task (pt 2)
“Eden! Wake up!” A voice booms in my ear. My eyes snap open, I turn to see Kallista trying to wake me up. What was she doing here?
“Kallista, it’s really early.” I moaned, I was right. The sun hadn’t even risen yet. It might have been a different time in the Pacific Ocean though.
“I know, but I need to talk to you!” She urged. I forced myself to get up and she explained everything. It was a very surprising thing she had told me.
“So, you want me to go to Malani’s Hollow?” I clarify, she nods slowly.
I had heard about that place, it was near the Atlantic and was very dangerous. I had heard of the dragons that inhabited it, but friends always helped each other. I agreed and swam out of my house with her. We kept swimming until we approach the beach, the morning sea air is very warm. The sun was just beginning to rise. Kallista and I needed to be in human form in order to find the Hollow. I knew she could summon legs too but I was the only one who could do it to make it stay for a long time. I hadn’t tried to summon my land legs for a long while, using certain types of magic could really wear me out – this was one of them. Carefully, I put a hand to my golden scales and focused, in a small burst of sparkles, my legs appeared. “Alright…” I panted, “That’s one.”
Kallista looks a bit concerned, but I give her a look saying that I was fine. “Stay still, alright?”
I waved my hands over her cerulean tail, causing her legs to materialise. “Ugh,” I moan quietly, I really do feel drowsy now.
“You alright? Maybe I should’ve done that instead.” Kallista suggests, standing up and stumbling for a second as she got used to having legs.
“I’ll be fine, come on, which way is the Hollow?” I get to my feet, knowing the throbbing in my head would go eventually.
“This way,” she points. I walk across the sand, waiting for the adventure to begin.

I was swimming happily because I had been invited to the most important parade of the century! It was titled”the parade of the two tribes.” It would be a parade
where the humans and mermaids would meet. There would be a meeting, then some entertainment, and then food, then, a dance and lastly, a gift trade.
I had already found a dance (Martin) and NOW ALL I NEEDED WAS A GIFT. I found a beautiful shell that shimmered a rainbow so beautiful, it could still be in your memory when you’re in manol (technically our heaven). Two days later when it was the parade I was dressed in a elegant tail that was aqua marine and
deep blue. At the meeting everything went smoothly, then a row of mermaids made a heart with their fins, as the humans lit their fireworks. I started crying of happiness. Then, all of a sudden everything went black and thunder cracked. Humans screamed looking for shelter, as mermaids were far from home
and things cannot get worse then a thunderstorm in water. And suddenly, a figure with horns transported in front of some humans. I knew what to do, fight
fire with fire. Why? ’cause I got the fire! I swam as fast as I could toward the humans and the monster and I burned one of the monsters horns. He shot lighning
at my tail as I tried to swim away. The littlest bit of my tail was burned. Other mermaids joined the fight, includind the light and bright mermaid who provided a light.
I quickly told a human to open my enchanted present. Then, I took it and threw it at the hideous monster. The power inside the shell healed all the mefolk, while
transporting the monster to a forbidden world. The humans took their present to a private history muesem in remebrece of us.

Story: The First Task
Eden and I were keeping secrets. I knew that. Good thing she can’t read minds. She’s not supposed to know. I lied in bed for hours, thinking of the chat I had with the Prime Minister. No one knows he exists. I do.
Now I’m restless. I can’t sleep no matter what. I have to do something. Something no one would do. Something the Prime Minister told me to.
I have to go to the Forgotten Farlands.
Yes, the Forgotten Farlands. A place where coral feeds off of a living soul until it dies. Nothing gets out. Not even the body. No one has gone there for centuries. Centuries.
I wish to go to the Forgotten Farlands and see something. Something familiar…
and then I remember. My dream I had the other night. Before I met the Prime Minister. I had swam through. Done something I can’t remember, and came out. Alive. Slowly, cautiously, I swim out. I take out the Soul Shell he gave me. He wants me to collect a soul. His King’s soul. And his own.
Using magic, I locate the King’s soul and swim in it’s direction. And then the coral gets me. Suddenly I’m in a tunnel. No light. No sound. Just pulses as it tears my soul apart. “Mairahnda.” I say. The pulses weaken, but they don’t stop, and soon I’m on my tail, curled in a ball. It hits me. My dream. I remember. An act of kindness. An act of kindness. That kindness is letting it leach off my soul. I’m fighting it, I should let it get at me. I stand up and let it take me. Now I’m floating, floating, soft flashes of light pouring over me. I’m waiting, waiting.These final seconds feel like hours. Is it always like that? And I’m sitting up, feeling my muscles, making sure I have control.
I’m alive.
I keep to the king’s soul. I find the coral he died on. I open the shell. And take his soul. Then I take the Minister’s soul. Now I’m at the edge of the Forgotten Farlands. I’m done.
Back at the Minister’s mansion, I hand him his soul. He takes it in and becomes real again. The King’s soul floats as a hologram next to him. The Minister nods to his King. The king says, “I have another task for you. There is a lost kingdom. I need you to locate it. It is called Tagala. To do this, you must do something even more dangerous.”
“What?” I ask cautiously.
“You must go to Malani’s Hollow.” Malani’s Hollow is a place in England that is hidden from humans. The problem is, you have to get on land. And the dangers there include dragons. Fire dragons. Five of them, all guarding the Whisperer’s Stone.
“Malani’s Hollow?!”
“Yes. And you are the only one to do it. You are th One.”
“Very well. I shall go.” I know of only one person who possesses the knowledge of turning into a human.
I have to see Eden. And I need to know why her secret involves the Prophecy.

Story: Eden vs. Kallista: Snowball Fight!
I was swimming around in the cold winter water and watched as my tail reflected the shimmering frost on the seabed. In the Atlantic, there wasn’t much snow, but that never stopped me from enjoying myself. I raced in and out of the coral beds, I was going so fast that the frost melted right off of them. Suddenly, Kallista swam up to me, “Hey Eden, what’re you doing out here? You could catch a cold out here.”
“Same to you.” I replied, noticing that Kallista wasn’t trying to keep herself warm either.
“I don’t need to worry though, my magic can keep me from getting sick.” The blonde mermaid answered proudly.
“Really? Then what about that time when you got one in the ice caves?”
“That’s because I was getting used to my powers!” She explained.
“Oh yeah?” I smiled, there wasn’t any snow, but since I had storytelling powers (a mermaid says something and it happens) I would be able to do the next best thing.
“There was a mermaid that needed a wall of snow!” I chanted, a large pile of snow appeared behind me, I quickly began to grab handfuls of it. My mermaid friend gasped, she knew exactly what I was about to do, but by the time she tried to defend herself it was too late. I’d already sent snowballs raining down on her. I watched as she frantically tried (and failed) to shield herself. After three minutes of me tossing snow at her, Kallista grabbed her wand and pointed it to the ground.
“Cryokara!” She chanted as a pile of snow twice as large appeared beneath her. The last thing I saw was my friend grinning at me before I saw white flying at me from all directions. I turned and dived out of the way, but the giant snowballs were pretty hard to dodge. I just managed it, but I was starting to get tired.
“You’re pretty good at that.” Kallista stated,
“There once was gigantic snowball!” I screamed as a house-sized sphere appeared above me, I was about to throw it when Kallista muttered, “Wosa Verah.” My snowball immediately vanished and I sank to the ground, weak. “Try and dodge this!!!” She waved her wand, and millions of snowballs began flying at the speed of dolphins. There was no use trying to dodge them, I was flung to the ground. Quietly, I whispered,
“There was a mermaid that needed a snow barrier.”
Instantly, a snow igloo appeared around me. Kallista’s snow couldn’t hit me from in there. I sat at the side of the wall, completely exhausted. I probably shouldn’t have used up my power on that useless attack plan. Whilst I was safe, I decided to see what was going on outside. Slowly, I dug through a little bit of the wall to create a window. What I saw shocked me. Kallista was outside and a massive ball of white hovered above her.
“She stole my idea!” I whispered to myself, next time I’d remember to say no copying.
She then threw the snowball on top of the igloo, breaking it and causing a large flurry of snowflakes to appear. When it all died down, I looked to see that I was laying on a large pile of snow. Kallista was a few feet away from me, “I win.” The two of us whispered together.

Story: Tense waters
Kallista, Sera and I were swimming around underwater.
“Hey Eden” Kallista turned to me,
“Yeah Sera, what’s up?” I asked,
“It’s about Cleo’s ring…”
“Forget about it!” Kallista reassured, “You were meant to have it in the first place. How else would you’ve been able to touch it.”
Sera nodded slowly. Suddenly, a wave of alertness swept over me, I could suddenly hear crashing waves in my ears, small drops of water, and even currents miles away.
“Water!” I blurted out quickly,
“What?” Kallista looked at me,
“The water it…” I began, trying to put my racing thoughts into words, “It’s tense.”
“Tense?” Sera and Kallista repeated together,
“Can’t you feel it? There’s something wierd out there.”
“Like a shark or… or a swordfish?” Sera guessed. I tried closing in on my thoughts again and an image popped in my head, making me gasp.
“No. Humans!” I replied, “Pirates actually.”
Kallista asked me a question,
“How come you can sense humans?”
“Probably because I’m a half human.” I reminded, “We have to do something before they reach, the Atlantic Ocean!”

The Tale of the Three Mermaids

One day I was at the town pool with my friends Caroline and Lilly. We saw two girls sitting at the deep end laughing and talking. There were younger girls crowded around them, talking to them and asking questions. When we looked closer, we saw that they had mermaid tails. One girl had a pink one, and the other had a green one. Now, at this time, I did not know that my mother, Ariel, was a mermaid because she thought that it would be dangerous for some nonsense reason. Anyways, Caroline, Lilly and I had started a mermaid fan club because we obviously were fans of mermaids.
We swam over to them and saw that they were a little older than us, maybe 13 or 14. “Hi!” I said to them. The girl with the green tail kinda glanced at me but then scowled. But I wasn’t going to give up there. “We have absolutely LOVE your tails.” I said. The green girl looked at the pink girl and shrugged. ‘Stuck-up’ I thought. ‘snobby stuck up spoiled girls.’ Lilly spoke up. “Can you tell us where you got them?” The pink girl glared at us. “No.” She said coldly. “Dad said to keep it a secret. Didn’t he Diana?” The girl with the green tail, whose name was Diana, nodded so fast that her dangly earrings jingled. “He did, Rebecca.” She said. “Let’s go guys.” Caroline said. We swam away and heard the girls laughing.
When I got home, I got onto my laptop and searched: Mermaid tails for girls on Google. A few adult mermaid websites came up but no kid sizes. Then I went to FinFun.com which was a dream come true. I absolutely LOVED the Aussie Green tail so much. I called Lilly and Caroline about my discovery and they came over right away to choose their tails. I told them the price and about the monofin. We didn’t have a big allowance, so our parents said to save up for them. We had a lemonade stand, sold jewelry, tutored younger kids, and did chores around the house. When finally we had made enough money for our own tails and monofins, we ordered them right away. I got Aussie Green, Lilly got Caribbean Sunset, and Caroline got Malibu Pink. When they arrived, we opened them together… “One, two, THREE!” and ripped the packages. We went straight to the pool and started our first swim. I was surprised that I could go so fast! Younger girls stared at us in awe and asked us questions like “Are you real mermaids?” It was fun getting attention.
The mermaid tails are fabulous quality at an amazing, reasonable price. I love FinFun mermaid tails, and I absolutely recommend this for girls who want to be mermaids.

Hi! My name is Mermaid Angelina and I got and really really love Mermaid Zoey’s pattern and character I want to be her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried it out and accidently scared an old man and he thought he SAW a REAL MERMAID!!!!!!!!!!!!! The mermaid tail WORKED so do you all want to be FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
