There is a giant surfing competition at St.Augustine beach. Waverlee, zoey, and Crystal were for sure they would win the competition because they were some of the best surfers in the state!
When the competition started it was partner surfing. Waverlee, Zoey, and Crytal were are partnered up together. The girls were so happy because they are best friends. Their names were called out next. They all hopped on the board and saw a massive wave. They all swam out to the wave and started surfing. Everyone cheered. Someone yelled “WHOA!” Waverlee’s hair has streaks of pink! WOW Zoey’s hair has green and blue! AHH! Crystal’s hair turned blue! The girls looked up at their hair and freaked out! They were not paying attention and they wrecked! Everyone looked for them. The girls popped their heads up to show that they are ok.
Their legs cramped and then a fin appeared. That’s when Waverlee’s Malibu Pink became a color. Same with Zoey’s Aussie green and Crystal’s Artic blue. The three also could breathe under water! It was so cool! They love the tail and the cool hair. They have never been happier before in their young lives.

    How I became a mermaid.

I was taking a bath and my mom said wow nice tail. I said what tail. She said your tail that big pink and purple thing on the lower half of your body. I was like what I don’t see anything. She said but it is right there, how can you not see your own tail. I got really excited and I looked and looked. All of the sudden, I saw a shimmer in the water and there it was my beautiful tail. I was so excited. I love being a mermaid. It is the best ever.

    Story: Mermaidenly Parties

Today was my first day in my new palace, and my first day as Mermaiden Princess Eden, i heard my shell phone going off beside my massive seaweed bed. My room was decorated with precious corals, portraits, and a photo of me and Brynn at my crowning as Mermaiden. i picked up the phone, and to my surprise, it was Brynn.
    “Hey Eden!”
“Hey Brynn, what’s wrong? Do I need to meet someone?” I asked, expecting a line of guests to be outside,
“Not exactly, all the Mermaidens are holding a party for you, to celebrate that you are now a princess, and part of the royal Atlantic community!” She told me, excitement in her voice.
“W- when?” I bit my lip.
“This afternoon, I’ll meet you outside your palace in an hour so that we can discuss things!” She told me, then I heard a long beep. I put the phone down, and sighed, I didn’t know anything about being a Mermaid Princess. I had gone to the crowning ceremony the day before, but a party with the Mermaidens? I would probably say the wrong things to them. The only two who I knew properly who would be going was Brynn, and Destiny. I had seen Destiny a few times, and we played around when i was a little mermaid, but that was before she had a load of duties to do. Thankfully I’m working to run the kingdom with Brynn as we are both from the Northern Atlantic. So I didn’t have as many duties as a normal Mermaiden.
After a while of tense waiting, I heard Brynn’s seahorse carriage pull up outside my shell palace. I looked out of my window, put on my pearl and seashell tiara, and swam down a long corridor that seemed to go on forever.
“Hi Brynn.” I waved nervously. Brynn was quite quick to pick up on the fact that I was new to all of this, so she said,
“Hey, don’t worry, I was nervous the first time too,” She put a comforting hand on my shoulder, “How about we stay close by each other for your first party?”
“Wait, Brynn?” I asked, “What are Mermaiden parties like?”
“Well, it starts by greeting guests, then we eat a dinner, and afterwards… well… we dance around and enjoy the party.” She explained, “Check this out!” Brynn held up a hand, and a glowing ball of light appeared in her hand, then it popped, and sparkles rained from her hand to the seabed. “That’s my little surprise for all the Mermaidens.”
    “Wow,” I whispered.
“Come on, let me help you get ready.” Brynn and I swam off to her palace, and the two of us went up into her room, it looked similar to mine, only hers had pictures of other royal palaces, mine was just above her bed. We sat down by her desk and she showed me how to eat like a princess, and what is and isn’t good for a Mermaiden to have. Then, she showed me how to greet guests, silence a room, give a speech, and how to meet another princess. “There,” She sighed, “I think that’s everything, you’re going to be great out there!”

And great I was, greeting the guests took a while, but it was quite fun because I saw some famous mermaids, the dinner was amazing, the coral cream cakes had sea nut cream inside them. And finally the party lasted all through the night. I was chatting with Destiny, and after a while I didn’t even need Brynn to help me around the palace, I knew my way around in minutes. My favourite part of that evening was when I thought to myself

    I can do this!

    See you mermaids soon!

    Story: Eden the Mermaiden

One morning, I heard a knock at my door. It was Sparkle, my new mermaid friend (I met her in my last story). What’s amazing about her is that she is a storytelling mermaid like me, storytelling is a very rare mermaid power. “Can I come in?” She asked excitedly.
“Sure.” I called from the other side of my room. She opened my seashell door, and swam in really quickly.
“YOU WON’T BELIEVE THIS!” Sparkle twirled around in mid-sea. She quickly handed me a green letter. “LOOK AT THE SIDE!” She turned it around. The side of the letter read, ‘To Mermaid Eden, From Brynn.’ I gasped in excitement.
“THE Brynn? You mean like the MERMAIDEN Brynn?!?!” I hazily opened the folded up letter, here is what it read:

‘To Mermaid Eden, for helping so many people out in our kingdom with the storm last week, and for your amazing storytelling, I am offering you the permanent title of Mermaiden Princess. I hope you will take it, if you do accept, you will be given your own palace, with your own servants and you are free to have visitors. There will also be Royal meetings with the other Mermaiden princesses. I hope you accept, if you do, come to my palace this evening, to be crowned, Mermaiden Princess Eden.

Yours Sincerely, Brynn (Mermaiden of the Northern Atlantic Ocean).’

I was about to jump out of my bed, swim the the surface, and yell out “YES!” To the whole world! Me, a mermaiden princess, working with Brynn in the Atlantic Ocean. I hugged Sparkle tight and swam off to get ready for the mermaid crowning.

By the time evening had come, I had used special coral to make my tail sparkle, and used mystical crystals and pearls to make a necklace. As for my hair, I couldn’t put anything on it because my crown would be on there. I had just finished getting ready, and was about to swim to the palace, when I saw a seahorse carriage waiting for me outside. I boarded it and set off, the coral cream cakes in there were delicious. When I came out, I heard cheering of at least a million mermaids and sea creatures. I saw Sparkle in the crowd too. I swam up a red carpet that was outlined with rubies. Then I swam up to a stage that was right in front of Brynn’s massive palace. There was an orange throne that was there for me to sit on. Brynn then did a long speech, and I don’t remember most of it. But the part that stuck out to me most was when she showed me that my house had been transformed into a massive seashell palace, and the best part was when Brynn put a sparkling pearl and shell tiara on my head and called out.
“ALL HAIL MERMAIDEN PRINCESS EDEN, OF THE ATLANTIC OCEAN!”

    Story: Crashing Waters

Thunder was rumbling, followed by an occasional flash of lightning, there was a storm! I gasped and came up to see the raging waves. I was being swayed from side to side, I tried to shout over the thunder as I used my storytelling powers.
“There once was a storm in the Atlantic Ocean! And it suddenly stopped!”
I tried to control my powers and make the rain calm down. But a wave hit me and I ended up swallowing water. I coughed a bit and tried to focus on the water again. I heard the rain slow down, then saw the clouds turn to a cool white. I sighed in relief, but then I began to feel lightheaded. I had over excerted myself by using my powers too much. I had used my powers for quite difficult situations before, but calming a storm was pushing it. I swam to the seabed, and suddenly collapsed from dizziness and exhaustion.
I woke up and saw a pair of glittery blue eyes.
    “W- what?” I mumbled.
“Are you alright Eden?” The girl asked. As I sat up, I saw it was a blue tailed mermaid.
“Crystal?” I asked, still a bit woozy. “I- is that you?”
    The mermaid giggled slightly,
    “No… my name’s Sparkle!”
“How do you know me?” I asked.
“Everyone in the Atlantic knows you.”
I tried to get up, but felt too weak. “No, no, no, no. Try to relax.” She whispered to me.
    “A- choo!” I sneezed.
“Bless you.” Sparkle whispered, “Are you not feeling well?”
“I’ll be alright, I think I just need to rest.”
    “No need for that!”
I gave her an awkward look. She then whispered. “There once was a mermaid that needed healing.”
Suddenly, I felt my strength returning.
    “You… you’re a storytelling mermaid too?!?!” I asked, amazed. “I thought I was the only one…”
    Sparkle smiled at me.
“C’mon let’s play!” She winked as the two of us swam away to play.

    That’s all for now .

Story: how to deal with a jealous mermaid

I was swimming In the ocean with my friend Bow, when suddenly a brown tailed mermaid showed up. It was the jealous mermaid Sateena of Satin for short.
“Hey look. It’s the story girl!” She taunted, “Have you sent the sea to sleep yet?”
Sateena’s presence always angered Bow. She swam up in her face saying…
“Hey. Why don’t you swim out of here Satin?”
Sateena brushed her out of her face and swam up to me.
“Anyway, have fun telling tales!” Sateena laughed, she then began swimming off.
I wasn’t too bothered by her, but Bow was.
Bow then stood up for me – big mistake.
“Have fun in you dull tail!” Bow yelled.
Sateena then froze for a second, and began glowing green. Bow quickly darted out the way as the mermaid held up a hand. A grass coloured light ball flew from her hands and exploded in front of me.
    “Eden!” Bow cried.
    Suddenly I collapsed to the
seabed, I was weak and felt faint. My eyes were half open as Bow tried to help me up, and seconds later I heard Bow’s muffled voice yelling for help right before I fell totally unconscious.
Half an hour later I woke up on the seabed.
    “Welcome back Princess. How’re you
    feeling?” Bow greeted excitedly.
    “B- Bow?” I muttered, “I’m fine… it’s just… my head hurts…”
Bow looked at me and sighed,
    “I’m sorry Eden.” Whispered Bow.
“What is there to be sorry about?” I asked.
“That I made Sateena hit you.”
“Don’t worry, I’m fine.” I reassured. After we spent the day swimming, we did exploring.

That’s all for now mermaid friends!

    Hello, humans!
My name is Kallista, and I live by the castle of Princess Waverlee. I am a caarixa, a mermaid that can cast spells, both verbally and with a wand. We live in a special part of the kingdom reserved for only caarixas. My FinFriend is a zebrafish named Stripe. He got lost from his shoal and was picked on constantly. I found him in a tiny cove. I gave him features that would make him different from all the other fish in the ocean. Our favorite thing to do is swim in coral reefs and end the day watching the sunset and spotting constellations. I sometimes practice spells. I like doing that. My tail is cerulean blue and my hair is as blonde and wavy as the princess’. Time for the tide to say goodbye!

I will make more stories on my adventures, by the way.

    Mermaid Kallista says:

Story: A Sword in the Coral
“Stripe, wait up! Stripe!” I called. My pet zebrafish was impatient. He loves coral reefs!
“Fine, you fishy knumbskull!” the impatient little fish replied. He slowed down.
“Stripe, you naughty fish! You know better than to go off like that!” I say, huffing and puffing after trying my hardest to keep up with the little scamp. When I finally catch my breath, I find that I can see the reef in the distance.
    “C’mon, Stripe! Let’s go!”
    “Yay!”
As we swim, I spot a shoal of bluefish. In the Pacific, bluefish is pretty common. But when they’re in schools, it always gives me a reminder. I’m in the realm of a dangerous fish: swordfish. Since I am a caarixa: a mermaid that can cast spells, both with my voice and with a coral wand I carry in my satchel, I have a chance against a swordfish attack, though they are rare. It doesn’t mean I can dodge them with a 100% win chance. My sister was also a caarixa and got stabbed in an attack. Unfortunately, she didn’t survive. I still miss her.
“Kallista! We’re here!” a voice cut through my silence. Stripe and I were at the edge of the reef. Even though I’d been here dozens of times, it still takes my breath away. Vibrant fish and coral litter the seafloor. Kelp and anemones sway like human dancers. Eels and small sand sharks lurk in the shadows. I was so breathtaken by the beauty of the reef, I didn’t see the shadow from above.
Finally, I come to my senses.
“Stripe! Where’d you go?” He was nowhere to be seen.
    “Boo!”
Startled, I spin in circles from jumping so harshly.
“Stripe! Don’t do that! You scared the silt out of me!” I scolded.
He looked at me as if he had been scolded from his parents.
“Kallista! Trouble at twelve o’ clock!”
Looking up, I see a swordfish.
    Aiming straight at me.
Reaching frantically for my wand, the swordfish pushes its swordlike bill at me.
I feel a pain as agonizing as being gutted alive by a fisherman as the “sword” goes straight through me and into a stick of coral.
Stripe is frantically screaming words at me. I can’t hear him. My vision is grayer, my cerulean tail weaker. In the grayness, I see a black hole. It grows bigger until finally I see nothing but black.

“Kallista! Kallista, can you hear me? Kallista!”
I find myself recognizing the voice.
Woozily, with my eyes still closed, I turn my head to the side.
    “Stripe?” I say weakly.
    “You’re alive!”
Slowly, I open my eyes. My vision still gray, I see an anxious Stripe in front of my face. Slowly, color seeps back into my vision.
“What happened?” I couldn’t remember anything.
“You got stabbed by a swordfish.”
A chill goes up my spine, remembering my sister.
“It went straight through you. It got stuck on a piece of coral. That coral probably saved your life.”
Trying to sit up, I ultimately fail. I try again, this time succeeding.
    “Where am I?”
“On a ledge. The swordfish pulled its bill out.”
Finally able to swim, I get up. Singing a healix songspell, I heal my wound. I check to make sure I had my wand. I did.
“Let’s go, Stripe. I don’t think I can survive another attack.”
Swimming away, I know I wasn’t as long gone as my sister.
I feel lucky to have a life.
Next time, I might not be so lucky.

      Mermaid Kallista says:

      Story: Where’s the Bait?
“Kallista! C’mon! We can’t have you living under a rock when there’s sunset to watch!”
Stripe, my ever-ecstatic zebrafish, was looking forward to our nightly sunset and constellation watch. I, on the other hand, was swimming slowly, reviewing my newest spell and my unlucky encounter with a swordfish yesterday. (It’s above this one.)
“Fine, you lump of blubber,” I say. He hates being called that.
As I listen to his whines, I look around for danger. We were in open water, and I was always more alert since the swordfish attack. I spot nothing. I don’t see the boat in the distance.
“…wait, you’re not even listening, are you, lazy seal?” Stripe said.
“Seals are NOT lazy,” I say. Absorbed in anger, I don’t notice the dark shadow gliding above the water until both of us are enveloped in a net. I scream.
“Keep it together, Kalli!” Stripe calls. He uses my nickname. I hate it, but in this situation, I don’t care.
Reaching for my bag, I find it’s not there. Looking down, I see it floating away. It was too far away to reach, and too far away to sing a retrieko spell. And then the net goes up. With us in it.
I had not learned any songspell that could make things disappear. So, exhausted, I wait for the dirty humans to haul us up and put us in a tank. They do.
“Look what we have here, Cap’n! A mermaid!”
They release Stripe. He yells, “Kallista! Do something!” just as he hits the water.
He’s right, for once. I have learned one songspell that just might help me. It won’t get me out of the net, but it will get me away from a tank. I start to sing a confuto: a forgetting spell.

      By the sea god’s throne,
      I am not alone.
It is the time for me
      To say goodbye to thee,
And make sure my captors don’t know.

As I finish, all the humans on the boat have glassy eyes. It worked!
“You have seen nothing but a seal. Your eyes have mistaken it for a mermaid. Release the seal and go on as if nothing happened.”
      They all nod.

Finally in the water, an anxious Stripe swims in circles around me.
“You’re safe! You’re safe!” he cries.
“Yes, I am. Stop doing that! You’re making me motionsick.” He was swimming faster around me, clearly upset but not wanting to explain why.
“What’s wrong now?” I say, not aware of the injuries my struggle gave me.
“Your arm! Your tail!” he says. My eyes widen as I look down. The net had hooks on in with bait. The hooks were large and had torn apart my arm. I could see the flesh all around. Finally, I could feel the pain.
Looking farther down, I note the deep cuts the clumsy humans made when cutting me free. I sing a healix, waiting for the magic to heal my wounds, but I didn’t even see blue sparks.
“What’s wrong with me?” I say. Then I remember: you can’t cast a healix without touching your wand. I recall the bag floating to the seafloor. Despite the gutted-alive pain flaring through my body, I swim down.
      “Come, Stripe!”
When we finally get there, I immediately find the bag. It’s easy when it glows as blue as my healing sparks. Reaching for my wand, I cast another healix. This time it works, but I still feel pain afterwards. At least I didn’t have scars.
“Let’s go to that watching cove,” I say.
“Oh, right! We don’t want to be late!” It was half an hour since we sat down to rest in a nearby shelf. The pain had finally subsided.
“Last one to the cove is shark dinner!” I yell. We both shot off, laughing.
And that was when I first met Princess Waverlee.

        Story: The First Encounter
Remember when I said I first met Waverlee in my net story? This is what happened.
        “Stripe! We’re almost there!”
“Yes!” Like me, he enjoys our sunset exertions. I notice that our cove was darker than usual. That was good. I also noticed the waves seemed to be under some kind of strange force. As we draw near, I swore I saw a mermaid tail and dolphin. Terrified, I duck into a shoal of sardines. It was a risky move, but I didn’t want to be seen. After a full half hour, they leave. I’d only seen her in pictures, but seeing her in person was overwhelming. Stripe fidgets beside me. Suddenly, the dolphin attacks the sardines. Afraid that Stripe might fall victim, I pull out my wand, making sure my bag wasn’t glowing. When my bag glows, it means danger. But it was too late, it started to glow brightly. My wand at the ready, I look at Stripe. He’s fine.
“Swim away before you become fish mash!” I say. I make sure I’m not too loud. He nods and steaks off. Luckily, the dolphin doesn’t follow. The sardines separate in a panic, revealing my hiding spot. I try to follow. Too late, Waverlee spots me and tells her dolphin to stop.
“Who are you?” Waverlee asks, her voice like a bubbling brook.
        “K..Kallista, Your Grace,” I say.
“Oh, are you part of the kingdom? You look like a village girl,” she says. My clothes are tattered and torn, but still beautiful.
“I..I am, Your Grace. I am part of the Honored Force,” I say.
“Ah, a caarixa, I see. Can you cast a spell for me? I would like to see one.”
With my wand still in hand, I summon my power and shout, “Careia!” waving the wand. Immediately, Stripe appears.
“This is my FinFriend. His name is Stripe.”
        “This is Bubbles, my FinFriend.”
Soon, we were chatting like old friends. I wasn’t looking at the abalone diver until a mesh bag goes over my head. This one was malicious and held his knife to my throat, and was pulling me to the surface. Mermaids can’t breathe on land. He wants to kill me.
“Don’t move.” His voice was scratchy. Suddenly, waves pound him until he lets go. I pull off the mesh bag.

        “Thanks.”
        “Anything for someone honored.”
“Surprising that I’m destined to save people and the princess saves me.”
        “No problemo.”
        “Bye.”
        “Bye.”
We leave, and I think about nothing but my friendship…with someone I’m not supposed to meet.
        My friendship with Waverlee.

    Story: Coral Catastrophe

One afternoon, I was swimming across the ocean with Bow the angelfish and we were having a good time, “So… what do you want to do?” I asked Bow.
“Exploring again! I LOVE exploring! Who doesn’t! All do!” She replied in her fast voice. Next to storytelling, exploring was my favourite thing to do. We went swimming across the seas, and found several different types of coral. “Here’s one!” Bow called, pointing her pink fin at a grey piece of coral.
“Here I’ll get it for you.” I decided. I tried to pick it, but suddenly I felt very drained of energy. I began swaying.
“Princess Eden, are you alright?” The angelfish asked.
I tried to answer, but before I could, everything went black.

I awoke and saw a very concerned angelfish looking down at me, I was on the seabed. “Oh…” I whispered, “What happened?” I gasped out.
“You fainted… I think it was that coral.” Bow guessed as she helped me to my fin. “How do you feel?”
“Not so good… I feel kinda weak…” I murmured. But I knew how to fix this. I summoned my storytelling powers, “There once was a mermaid that needed healing, and it worked.” I saw myself glow, but before my magic could take effect, I found myself leaning forward from lack of power. “Or it didn’t…” I panted.
“Oh gosh!” Bow whispered as she saw my flushed cheeks. “I think you have a fever.”
“I didn’t think coral could do that…” I sighed, but then I had a plan. “Bow! Take me up to the surface!”
    Bow nodded.
I got up to the beach, and met the person I wanted to see, The girl I’d met a few weeks before. (My story for that is beneath this one).
“Oh my, Eden! You don’t look so good!” She exclaimed. “Are you sure you’re feeling well?”
“Not really… But I came here to see if you had anything!”
“What happened?” The eleven year old asked.
“I think I got affected by some sort of coral.” I sighed.
Immediately, the girl left and came back with some sort of… well… she called it MEDICINE or something… It’s supposed to make humans (and mermaids) feel better. So I took it, but it tasted worse than red seaweed. (What I ordered at the mermaid cafe)
But a while later, I felt my powers coming back. So I spent the afternoon playing with the girl.

    Story:
    My first Human meeting

One morning, I got up and swirled around in the ocean, Summer was here! I darted in and out of coral beds and flapped my tail in excitement. I was really enjoying my morning, especially when Bow swam up to me, “Hey Eden! Do you want to go to the surface?” She asked me. Normally, people would say that up in the surface there are humans and that humans were dangerous. But the last time I met one, she helped me and was very cute… Here’s how it happened:

I had decided to take Bow up on her offer to go and visit the beach. We swam up to the surface of the sea, and I saw people on the beach. I tried to keep myself hidden but my tail accidentally flapped as I turned around, a man saw me on the beach and yelled out, “Hey everyone! It’s mermaid Eden!”
In seconds, everyone was waving at me. I guess they already knew about me. After a while, I waved bye to them and swam back underwater but suddenly, I heard them gasp.
“What? What is it?” I asked, but I stopped when I saw a large rope net surround me. I tried hard to break free, but I was being pulled out of the water, I was panicking hard, but I still had my storytelling powers, I began to use them, as I told myself the story, began to glow. “One day there was a mermaid that was trapped in-” But I stopped halfway, and put a hand to my head, I was feeling very weak. It was then that I realised I was completely out of the water. I could breathe on land, but my powers were affected when I was dry. I turned around and saw a fisherman with a giant net.
“HELP!” I yelled to the humans on the beach, “PLEASE HELP ME!”
Suddenly I saw an eleven year old girl (P.S I’m twelve) run up to my net.
“Hold on!” She told me, I was trying to calm down, but I couldn’t not when I was eight fins out of the water!
The girl knelt down and grabbed the sea water, I was about to ask her what she was doing, but I figured it out when she began splashing the water onto my tail. She did that a few times until I felt strong enough to use my powers, I tried again.
“There once was a fisherman who was trying to capture a mermaid, but he disappeared!” And in seconds the fisherman was gone, and so was the net, I fell down into the water, splashing water all over the girl’s beach clothes, she laughed.
    “Bye, Eden!” She waved.
“Thanks… I promise I’ll see you again!” I waved and, I dived back into the ocean to get some rest. When I got to the bottom of the ocean Bow greeted me.
“What happened up there?” She asked
“The best thing I’ve ever seen.”

    Storytelling Mermaid Eden – Finisfriends

    The Mermaid and the Bow

One morning I got up, feeling drowsier then usual, today I was going to tell one of my stories to Bow and her friends. I slowly pulled my seaweed covers aside and got up. I yawned and looked out of my window I saw that some of the algae on the rocks had turned white, and small ice crystals were by some rocks. Winter had finally come. As I was about to open my seashell door, Bow came rushing in through the window and began talking at her usual fast speed. “Hey Princess Eden! How are you? Everything alright?”
I gently stroked Bow’s pink scales and laughed.
“I’m fine with you just calling me Eden, Bow!” I reminded.
“I know. But you’re the Storytelling Princess! Let the sea know, let the sea hear!” Bow then paused, and looked at me long and hard.
“Hey, are you alright? You look kind of… flushed.”
I knew what Bow meant, I was feeling quite hot and tired actually, but I couldn’t miss storytelling.
    “Y-yeah I’m f-fine… A- CHOO!” I sneezed.
“Bless you.” Bow whispered calmly, but then went into her normal fast talk.
“Are you alright? You look like you have a cold. I mean, you look red, you look tired, it’s snowing on land-”
    “Rainbow.” I groaned.
“Oh right… Well we better get you to bed.” Bow quickly decided. If there was one thing I really disliked, it was being sick. I didn’t normally mind the symptoms and all that; it was more the fact that I’d have to put all of my wonderful plans for the day on hold.
“B-bed?” I muttered, “But what about the story?”
“My friends won’t mind. I promise. Just hold still.” Bow ordered as she swam over to a seaweed patch and put it on my head, after five seconds, it turned a golden orange, like the colour of my tail. Suddenly, I sneezed again and looked at Bow.
    “See. You need to rest.”
I groaned in disappointment, my title was The Storytelling Princess, and I had to make sure that I kept it. I was about to give in, when my anger began to flare up.
“No. I’m going right now!” I protested with folded arms.
    “But Princess Eden, It’s cold. It’s early. It’s icy. You’re sick…”
I then sighed and began summoning up my powers.
“One morning there was a mermaid that wa-” I began glowing golden, but after feeling a pain in my head, my glow winked out and I sank to the floor. I felt ever so dizzy. “Oh…” I moaned, I guess my powers had made my cold worse.
Bow gave a sympathetic look at me and slowly helped me to my feet. She was a young, but strong angelfish.
“Now do you believe me?” She whispered, as she helped me up. I slowly nodded.
“I guess your friends will have to wait… Ah… A – CHOO!” I sneezed. Suddenly, a massive book appeared in a puff of orange sparkles. I sniffed and turned to Bow in shock. “Wow.” I said simply.
“It’s setting off your powers…” Bow realized… “I have an idea.”
That afternoon, Rainbow was reading stories that I had written in the books… her friends loved it. And afterwards, All the angelfish came over to say hello and they made me a gigantic get well soon card… and the best part… A large coral cake!
After the long day, Bow tucked me in and let me rest, she even stayed all day to get me soup and help me get better.

    Mermaid Eden – Finisfriends says:

    Meet Storytelling Princess Eden

    Hey human friends…

I’m Eden, a mermaid from the Atlantic ocean, I have a custom- made golden Finis tail, meaning that I am a Finisfriend not a Finfriend, I have special storytelling powers, and everyone calls me Princess Eden because I am like the storytelling princess and normally only Mermaidens have powers. I love swimming around, but there aren’t many beaches near the northern area of the Atlantic, so I explore the lakes, rivers, and canals. I love my home sea, but sometimes it can get quite cold around the Atlantic, especially in winter. I remember this time when it was a cold winter day, even in the ocean and I caught this terrible cold, I had to stay in bed for most of the day. It was even worse because whenever I tried to quickly sit up, my powers would go off, and massive books would appear out of nowhere. I know what you’re thinking, who could keep a mermaid in bed? That brings us up to my finisfriend Rainbow (I call her Bow for short), she is a sweet, kind, and VERY excitable angelfish. She loves to listen to my stories, and because I’m known as the Storytelling Princess, she always calls me Princess when she addresses me. CUTE, I KNOW!
My most favourite thing to do with Bow is to create things. You see my powers can be VERY useful sometimes, like if I wanted a mystical shell I would say.
“One day there was a mermaid with a mystical shell.” And it would appear. But sometimes it happened by accident, like when I said,
“And now what? A massive fishnet!” A fishnet actually trapped me inside, but I could easily get myself out by making up a spiky coral branch.
I can’t believe I’m the first finisfrend to talk to you guys.

    MERMAID EDEN!

    Gianna says:

Hello fello mermaids! Im Gianna! My most favorite color is mint greeb! Just like my tail haha! Well this is the story on how I saved my schools art and dance program. It doesn’t start off the way it used to. The first try we did it, it was a major jelly fish! We decided to put posters all over town..bext day, they were torn by the waves. The second time we tried we try and save money…that didn’t work. So me and my friends decided to go out on the streets and do what we do best! One of my friends sang, my other friend drew on the rocks with colorful stones that humans used. And finally I danced to my friends singing, we did this for 2 whole weeks…we were so close…until the day of the art and dance rooms were boarded up, and the council was getting ready to pack it up. Then we heard a “Wait!!” We turned to see my mom hand the council the money AND an extra 20 pearls. We smiled. The art program was saved! And thats how me and my friends saved the program. Sea you later!

    I am a mermaid.
We live by a beach and we collect seashells.
I recently made friends with a dolphin called Queen.
Sometimes, when my parents aren’t looking, I will take some of our most prized shells and take them to sea with me.
There, I meet up with Queen, and we scatter the shells across the ocean.
I have to find all of the shells that Queen hid, and Queen has to find all of the shells that I hid.
    It’s really fun!

Hi, i’m Selah, i’m going to tell you of how I became A mermaid. My best friend Jesia and I were going to her neighbor Hanna’s house to swim. when we got there she was swimming in a mermaid tail! we were so amazed! she had an Aussie Green mermaid tail. turns out Jesia orded the same one. They said they got it from fin fun so I had money to buy one too. I was on the website and I fell in love with the Tropical Sunrise and ordered that one. I was soooooo excited! but the ups lost the package I was angry and heartbroken my parents told me that the day it was supposed to come. They lost it for a long time, every day I tracked it to see if they found it yet, and my dad leaving emails and calling every day. Eventually, they found it! yay! I saw it at my door and dropped everything in my hands. (we had groceries, whoops) I was the happiest girl in the world! I tried it on and couldn’t wait to swim in it my first swim was AMAZING I was with Jesia and little girls thought we were real! So cool! now we can be mermaids all the time! Thank you fin fun very much for amazing adventures. And maybe you’ll see another story of mine soon!
