Here’s a quick video to show you how you can easily kick off and swim out of a Fin Fun mermaid tail and monofin.
Unlike other monofins that have straps and velcro, Fin Fun’s unique patented monofin is designed to be easily kicked off, but won’t slip off too easily or drag you down. Watch the video to see for yourself!
Safety is so important to us at Fin Fun! We are all about making dreams come true! But like any water activity, safety precautions must be taken to minimize risks and keep everyone safe.
Must Have Safety Features in any Mermaid Tail
Trust only Genuine Fin Fun Mermaid Tails and Monofins. The following safety features are built-in to every Fin Fun Mermaid Tail:
1. OPEN BOTTOM TAILS: we intentionally leave our mermaid tails open at the ends to allow for quick access to feet–for walking, removing the monofin, etc.
2. BREATHABLE FABRICS: our mermaid tails are made from breathable, 4-way stretch swimsuit fabric that allows air and water to pass right through. Some people worry about the tail trapping air and making the legs float up–this is not possible with our mermaid tails due to the open ends and the breathable fabric.
3. BUOYANCY NEUTRAL MONOFIN : Our monofin is made of a thick, flexible plastic insert covered by a neoprene sleeve–which makes it neither float nor sink. It’s neutrally buoyant. It won’t pull feet up and it weighs virtually nothing in the water, yet it offers excellent propulsion. Many people say they swim better with it and because of it.
4. QUICK RELEASE MONOFIN: Our patented monofin design is unlike any other on the market. It has no straps to bind feet inside and it can be removed with a light tug and a kick. And because of our stretchable tail fabrics, anyone can swim right out of the tail in seconds.
